PROGRAMS

Masters Institute of Music is a Northern New Jersey music school offering premier music education for students of all levels. We teach children, teens, and adults how to play a musical instrument and how to refine their overall music skills.

Playing a musical instrument is a powerful way to build confidence in one's abilities and to explore personal expression. Our fun and immersive programs focus on instrument instruction for all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced, as well as pre-college preparatory instruction. We also offer lessons in voice, music composition, creative development and music theory. Explore our programs that are intended to foster a love of music in learners of all ages, and provide effective music techniques and methods that adapt to the needs of each student.

PIANO PROGRAM

Playing the piano is not only fun, it creates strong and coordinated hands and it provides endless opportunities to learn

Violin Program

The violin offers a sound that is both hypnotic and passionate — one of the most beautiful instruments to master.

Guitar Program

Many students choose the guitar to develop their craft and personal musical style.

Cello Program

Our cello lessons are fulfilling for musicians seeking professional, educational, or recreational growth.

Voice Program

Our Voice program specializes in vocal technique training for singers of all levels and ages.

Drums Program

We teach drum instruction to beginners and experienced players alike — from garage jammers to stage performers.

Flute Program

Many come to us with no flute experience but a strong desire to play — and we guide them every step of the way.

Trumpet Program

Inspired by legends like Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis, our trumpet students explore tone, range, and performance.

Saxophone Program

Whether you want to be a soloist, recording artist, or casual player, we have a stage for you at Masters.

Adults Program

Designed for adults of all ages who want to learn an instrument or improve their musical skills.

Little Masters

Our preparatory music program for children ages 3–6 introduces them to the joy of music.

PRE-COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM

Students who are preparing for pre-college and conservatory entrance auditions attend master classes with our senior instructors, in addition to attending weekly private lessons.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Students who want to cultivate their creativity through music take weekly private lessons at Masters.
